The room was tastefully decorated. During the. afternoon solos were rendered by Mrs. Sineock and Misses Jones and Reeves and a duet by Mesdames Gandell and Nicholson, which were all very much appreciated. The accompaniments were played by Mesdames Gandell and Raine. During the afternoon tea, Mrs. Paris cut the birthday cake, which was made by Mrs. Skinner for the occasion. Mrs. Pacey, Wellington president, gave a brief talk on the organisation of the auxiliary and the need for assistance in the mission work in the Solomon Islands.
