A GOOD CEMENT
When some treasured piece of china is slightly chipped or broken you may wish you knew a good way of cementing it together. An excellent cement can be made by mixing one ounce of powdered gelatine in a saucepan with two tablespoonfuls of water. Put on the stove and stir constantly until it is just boiling, then add a dessertspoonful of acetic acid and continue stirring until the mixture boils. Cool slightly, and then pour into a .bottle. Let it stand until it is quite cold, then cork.
