SUDDEN DEATH
Captain Hamano, of Cruiser Asama Suva, June 1. Paymaster-Captain 11. Hamano, of tlie Japanese cruiser Asama, which recently visited New Zealand, died suddenly of cerebral haemorrhage. He was cremated this morning. Paymaster-Captain Hamano was a member of Rear-Admiral Nakamura's staff. He previously visited Wellington as a paymaster-lieutenant-commander i»> the Yakumo in 1928.
