TO ASSIST FUNDS
Afternoon For Residential Nursery Branch Friends and members of the Lower Hutt branch of the Residential Nursery were recently entertained at a “bring and buy” afternoon at the residence of Mrs. W. L. Hooson, Pretoria Street, the hostesses being Mesdames Hooson and Beazley. A large assortment of goods was provided, the sale of which will help the funds considerably. A number of competitions were held, the winners being Mesdames F. Campbell, C. F. Whiteman and Aicheson. Before afternoon tea was served by. the hostesses, musical and elocutionary items were given by Mesdames Andrews, Aicheson, Schmidt and Cbarleeworth. Those present included Mesdames JW. Andrews W. Nash, J. Mitchell,. J. A. Peterson, F. Campbell, C. F. Whiteman, B. S. Knox, C. E. Charlesworth, Forbes, W. S. Alexander, A. Freeman, Neilson, Sargent, Schmidt, Fletcher, Bennett, Butcher, Nicholson, Taylor, Lines, House, W. Dickinson, C. E. Hollis, W. Smith, C. Ashton, Flux, Hutt, Cameron, Power, Lowe, Pargetter, Aldrick, Tunley, Van Borsumm, Aicheson and Misses D. Kcrsley, L. Findlay, Wilkins (2).
