ANOTHER AIR RACE
Prize Money For South Australian Proposal TO ATTRACT GOOD FIELD London, April 10. Bending a definite proposal from the South Australian Premier, Mr. R. L. Butler, aviation authorities are reluctant to discuss the prospects of a Lon-don-Adelaide race for commercial machines in connection with the South Australian centenary in 1936. Mr. Butler appreciates that the prize money must be substantially higher than that for the Melbourne race in order to attract a worth-while field. He intends to see the Prime Minister of Australia, Mr. J. A. Lyons, to seek Commonwealth support.
