FIRE AT COLYTON

Residence Destroyed Palmerston North, April 10. The residence of Mr. T. S. Ashworth al Colyton was totally destroyed by fire yesterday afternoon. Nothing was saved from the building. It was fortunate that no wind was blowing when the -Tire was in progress or adjacent outbuildings would probably have been destroyed. Flames were first noticed in the rear portion of the dwelling, but they spread so rapidly that no efforts could be made to eave any of the contents.
