COMFORT IN OFFICES

Inlaid Rubber Flooring Comfort has been carefully studied in the fittings in offices in the Prudential Assurance Company’s new building, and every inch of floor space throughout the building has been covered with inlaid rubber. More than 5000 yards of Dunlop rubber flooring for this purpose were supplied by Macinlop (New Zealand), Limited. From the tenants’ point of view this is a great boon, as they are saved the cost of carpets or linoleum, wh'ich is usually a large item in the cost of fitting up new offices. Variation in the floor design has been lent by the blending of tasteful colours, and the provision bf appropriate borders. With this judicious combination, an air of brightness pervades each office. Rubber flooring has also been used in the lifts, 1 and the effect is to give considerably more silence.
