Miss Zillah Castle is a Wellington visitor to Palmerston North.

Mrs. C. M. Strouts is a Wanganui visitor to Palmerston North. Mr. and Mrs. L. Sims, Wanganui River, are visiting Gisborne.

Mr. and Mrs. F. Brack are Wanganui visitors to Wellington.

Mrs. Niven Forrest, Ferrefort, Monck’s Spur, is visiting Wellington. Mrs. Ralph Brown, St, John’s Hill, is a Wanganui visitor to Wellington. Miss Cooper, Wellington, is staying at Warwick House, Christchurch. Miss Ida Myers left Wellington last evening for a visit to the South Island. Mr. and Mrs. Bowler and their daughter Dorothy, Napier, are guests at. the Royal Oak Hotel. The Misses Bradley, Wellington, are the guests of Mr. and Mrs. H. It. Bagge, Maxwell Road, Blenheim.

Miss Alex Cowper, who has been visiting Mrs. A. E. Cowper, W anganui, is now at Wellington.

Mrs. G. F. Lomas and Miss Samson have returned to Wanganui from a holiday at Christchurch.

Miss Cecily Ramsay, Dunedin, is the guest of Mrs. C. G. White, Selwyn Terrace, Wellington.

Mrs. W. S. Wauchop and her daughter, Miss Kirkley, have returned to Wellington from the South Island. Miss Marion Douglas, Masterton, is spending a holiday with her parents at Petone, prior to her departure for England next month. Mr. and Mrs. Bailey, Hamilton, who have been the guests of Mrs. Rutherford, Wanganui, left yesterday for Mas ter ton.

Mrs. W. 0. Urquhart and family, who have been staying at Titahi Bay for the holidays, have returned to Northland.

Mrs. W. C. Somers and Miss Mary Somers, Herne Bay, Auckland, have returned from a visit to Wellington and Palmerston North.

Miss Mary Cradoek, Bittle River, Canterbury, who has been visiting Wellington, has returned home. Mrs. T. E. James and Miss Oriel James, Lyall .Bay, Wellington, left Auckland by the Monterey on Saturday last for San Francisco. After live or six weeks in California they will proceed to New York, and later to England, where they propose to stay about 10 months. Guests at Anakiwa Homestead include Mr. Broadbent, England; Mr. and Mrs. Thompson, Ceylon; Mrs. Lambert, Masterton; Mr. and Mrs. S. Laurensen, Messrs. Bleakley, Brewer ‘(2), Palmerston North; Mr. Frew, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Edwards, Mr. and Mrs. McFunn, Miss Kilpatrick, ’Wellington.
