Mr. Peter Robertson to Stand For Upper Hutt, The Upper Hutt mayoralty will be contested at the elections in May by Mr. Peter Robertson, who acceded to a unanimous request by a largely attended meeting of the Upper Hutt branch of the New Zealand Labour Party recently. The meeting pledged itself to work wholeheartedly for Mr. Robertson’s return. At the last elections Mr. Robertson polled almost as many votes as the present Mayor, Mr, A. J. McCurdy.
