QUESTION OF REPAIRS
Constable Street Fire Station The question of repairs to the fire station in Constable Street was considered by the Wellington Fire Board yesterday. Repairs to the roof to prevent leaking were discussed, and it was decided to refer the difficulty to an asphalt company. The chairman, Mr. N. W. Nelson, mentioned that 10 or 15 years’ depreciation had got to be made up. Mr. M. F. Luckie said the building had been erected In 1919 and that little had been done in repairs in that time.
