MALARIA SUFFERERS

fl. His Majesty’s Sympathy (British Official Wireless.) Rugby, January 14. A message from the King has been transmitted to the Governor of Ceylon, through the Secretary for the Colonies, Sir Philip Cunliffe-Lister, expressing his Majesty’s sympathy with the victims of tite recent serious epidemic of malaria in the island. A message from the Secretary for the Colonies, who lias followed the course of the epidemic with interest and concern, adds: Your last report suggests that the epidemic may have passed its worst and I trust that this will prove to be the case. In the meantime, please convey to the sufferers ray sympathy in their misfortune, and to those who are working to fight the disease my best wishes for the success of their efforts.
