Visit of English Schoolgirls Lady Buckleton, president of the Wellington branch of the Victoria League, received a letter- yesterday /rom Dame Meriel Talbot reporting the departure of the party of 27 English schoolgirls who are to visit New Zealand next month en route to Australia. The party is under the charge of Miss Edith Thompson, 0.8. E., and Miss Stevenson, and is travelling by the Rotorua, arriving in Wellington on the morning of September 20. Before they loft Lady Forster entertained them aIL at afternoon tea at the' Victoria League rooms, 81 Cromwell Road, and the next day Mr. Malcolm MacDonald, son of the Prime 'Minister, and Under-Secretary of State for the Dominions, gave them a word of farewell at the Liverpool Street Station.
