Activities of the Week There was a good attendance at .the midweek concert given at the Missions to Seamen Institute, Wellington. Mrs. E. Astill, who arranged an excellent programme, had with her the following performers :—Mrs. Halvorsen, Mr. Ken Strong, and Miss Madge Freeman,, soloists; Mr. Laurie Bevan, Mr. C. Evans, Miss Brackenridge, Master Halvorsen, and Misa Judy Cooper. A rope-coilmg exhibition was given by Mr. Collie, and humorous dialogue by Miss Gwen McConchie and Miss Nan Brackenridge. The accompanist was Miss Bessie i< erguson.
