ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL
This Afternoon’s Attractions Two interesting Association football games will be played at the Basin Reserve to-day, when Marist will meet Hospital and Watersiders will play Nada. The game between Marist and Hospital is bound to draw a great crowd. . Hospital have succeeded in beating Marist ou two occasions, once in the championship and again in the Chatham Cup. Both teams have an even chance in the championship and a loss of two points at this stage will definitely defeat their chances of winning the competition. Hospital are Confident they can defeat their opponents for the third time, but Marist, who are keenly alive to their chance of champion honours being extinguished should they lose this game, will be seen at their best, and will be hard to defeat. The game promises to be exciting a.nd thrilling- . . . . . Nada, who are improving with eaeli game, will hotly contest their match with Waterside, and some good football should be seen. There will be* two curtainraisers.
