CANADIAN CROPS Control Bill in Manitoba (Received April 8, 5.5 p.m.) Winnipeg, April 6. The Wheat Control Bill was given its third reading by the Manitoba Legislature. The Opposition leader, Mr. W'. Sanford Evans, stated that he would not oppose it because Canada had already been committed. He hoped the 1934 crop would not reach 385,000,000 bushels so that the consequences of tlie Bill might be avoided. The Premier, Mr. J. Bracken, declared that the significance of the Bill was tlie realisation that the serious wheat problem could be remedied by co-operation.
