Sole Survivor of Crash DIET OF ROOTS AND VINES (Received April 8, 6.35 p.m.) Bogota (Columbia), April 7< Newton Marshall, solo survivor of five men in a plane which crashed while carrying a consignment of gold from the Choco Pacific mines to Medellin, has been discovered after living on roots and vines for two weeks in tlie jungle. ! Two others were killed in the crash, and the others died of injuries.
