FAREWELL TO PRINCE

South African Message VISIT TO BECHUANALAND Cape Town, 51a reh 19. Prince George concluded his tour of the South African Union when he crossed the border into Bechuanaland near Gaberones. He travelled 16.500 miles and visited 44 centres. In a telegram of farewell, the Prime Minister. General Hertzog, asked Prince George to assure the King of the hearty welcome he had received from all sections of the people. The Prince, replying, expressed the hope that a revival of prosperity would extend throughout the whole country.
