NEW NAVAL WEAPON

Control by Wireless Ray London, March 17. The “Sunday Chronicle” states that among the small craft sanctioned in the Navy Estimates will be 10-ton wirelessly operated vessels designed to sink the largest battleships. They will be launched laden with a high explosive from destroyers and travel faster than any ship toward the enemy under control of a wireless ray till ultimately they strike amidships and detonate the explosive. If the target manages to elude the pursuer, the wireless ray can recall it with the cargo unexploded.
