RUN OF SUCCESSES

Cambridge in Boat Race (British Official Wireless.) Rugby, March 17. The usual great crowds assembled at an early hour to see the University boat race along the course and were rewarded by seeing each crew take the final outing. It was the eighty-sixth race of the series, Cambridge having won 44 and Oxford 40, the race in 1877 resulting in a dead-heat. Except for Oxford’s success in 1923 Cambridge had won every boat race since the war and were again favourites for to-day’s event, which they won in record time.
