Wanganui Jockey Club By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wanganui, March 19. The Wanganui Joekey Club’s winter meeting programme approved to-day carries large increases in stakes. The Wanganui Steeplechase will be worth £3OO. against £200; the Century Hurdles £250, against £175; and the Grandstand Steeplechase £175, against £125. Most of the other events show an increase. There will be a mile and a distance race the second day, the John Donald Hack Plate, of £175, including a trophy valued at £-15 presented by Mr. John Donald.
