Forced Landing in Paddock SHORTAGE OF PETROL I ;- By Telegraph—Press Association.' Christchurch, March 19. While accompanying the Southern Cross from Motueka to Christchurch this evening, a. Puss Moth aeroplane flown by Mr. Butler ran out of petrol and made a forced landing in a paddo?k at Fernside, near Ran.giora. The undercarriage of the machine was considerably damaged and the propeller was broken.
