Airs. AV. Scott and Miss Hera Scott are Wanganui visitors to Wellington. Mrs. A. Hendrey, Wellington, is the guests of Mrs. Rhimes, Wanganui.
Airs. Cuthbert Alitford. who has been spending some months in Wellington, returned to Auckland yesterday. Airs H. O. Nolan. Auckland, left Wellington by the Rangitiki yesterday for England.
Air. and Airs. AV. Greenhill, Greymouth. are visiting Wellington at present.
Miss M. Latham was hostess at a large all-day tennis party held at the Wanganui Tennis Courts on Thursday. Air and Mrs. R. Trevor Smith, Wairoa, are guests at the Royal Oak Hotel.
Aliss Edna Smith, Wanganui is staying with Airs. D. Macdonald Robertson, Hobson Street.
Aliss Helen Nichols, of I-lutunn. Hawke’s Bay, is visiting relations and friends in 'Wellington. Air.-and Airs. N. Dixon, Lower Hutt, are the guests of Mrs. E. Harper, Alasterton. ’
Airs. J. S. Barton. Lower Hutt, left by the Limited last evening for Auckland. Alisses Ola Pearce and Kathleen Somerville, Wellington, have motored to the Wairarapa .for a holiday. Captain and Airs. A.- A. Luckham, Aitutaki, who have been spending several months in New Zealand, return home by the Alakura on Tuesday. Aliss E. Fisher has returned-to Napier after an extended holiday in Wellington, -where she was the guest of Airs. O’Brien.
Air.' a,nd Airs. Ralph Alorse, Gisborne, and Mrs. E. G. Vaughan. Sydney, are staying with Airs. AV. H. Ballinger, Keiburn Parade.
Air. and Airs. D. F. Duigan, of Southern Rhodesia, who have been staying in Wanganui, sailed by the Rangitiki from Wellington yesterday. Nurse Al. Robbie, of Pahiatua, has received notice of her transfer .to New Plymouth, where she will, go immediately after Easter.
Airs. Acton Adams, North Canterbury. passed through AVellington on her way to Havelock North, to see her daughter Peggy, at Woodford House School.
Aliss S. Crawford., Belfast, who has spent the last four months touring New Zealand, has left for Sydney, where she will join the Strathnaver on her return to Ireland. •
Air. and Airs. Guy, who have been visiting New Plymouth and 'Wanganui, where they were '-the guests of Airs. Peter. Lewis, returned to Ngaio, AVellington,, yesterday. ; Aliss Chaffer, Reading. England, who has been touring in New Zealand since before Christmas., arrived from the north yesterday evening, to stay with Aliss Constance Alorice, Eccleston Hill. Aliss .Chaffer will leave by the Alakura on .Tuesday.
Mrs, W. H. Ward, Dominion president of the Women’s Division of the Farmers’ Union, who has been visiting branches throughout the North Island, will leave this evening' on her return south.
Mr. and Mrs. Harold Nicholson, who have been living in Levin for the last year, left on Thursday with Miss Nicholson for a trip to the Old Country. They will spend a short time in Syd-, ney en route, and propose to be away for over a year.
