OVERSEAS VESSELS

Many Due in Port at Week-end BUSY WATERFRONT The Wellington waterfront will assume a brisk appearance over the week-end when a number of overseas vessels are due. Two of them the Canadian Constructor and the Abel Tasman —arrived yesterday, while today the Otaio, Middlesex, Port Chalmers, Port Alma, Bencruachan, and the tanker Storanger are expected. The Port Nicholson, which has been delayed for some time at Wanganui, is due to arrive to-morrow. The Bencruachan, from Port Kembla, and the Storanger. from San Pedro, are the only vessels making Wellington their first New Zealand port Of call, all the others having discharged or loaded cargo elsewhere in the Dominion.
