Male Voice Part Songs

Sir, —Last Thursday evening a very enjoyable concert was given in St. James's Hall, Lower Hutt, by the “Hutt Liedertafel” under the conduetorship of Mr. Harold Brusey. The items for the male voice part-songe were well chosen and well sung. The assisting artists gave appropriate recitations and solos which were particularly bright and pleasing. Judging by the applause and numerous encores, it seems a pity that similar Wellington societies do not include more of this popular style of programme.—l am, etc.. B. MORBRIGHT. Wellington, December 15.
