ORDER OF DRUIDS
Coronation Lodge Meeting A.D, Bro. S. Cooper presided over the recent quarterly meeting of Coronation Lodge, No. 26. U.A.O.D. D. 8., Bro. Kuch paid an official visit, and was received with the honours of the Order. Bros. Willis and Ketcho, R.A.C. examiners, were in attendance, also Bro. Lee, 'of Paeroa Lodge. The visitors were introduced to the Arch Druid by the master of ceremonies, P.A., Bro. F. E. Matthews.. The nomination of officers resulted ns follows: —A.D, Bros. Clements and Lawton ; VIA, Bro. Cox; J. P. A, Bro. C. Cooper; secretary, Bro. Mollison; treasurer. Bro. Ingram, P.D.P.; inner guard, Bro. Saunders; outer guard, Bro. Ollgit, P.A.; A.D.B.’s, Bros. Phillips and Rowland; V.A.B.’s, Bro. Braid and O’Rourke; auditor, Bro. Zantuck; organist. Bro. Kuch. ' The following members represented the lodge in the indoor bowls tournament for the Taylor Rolph Cup against Court Lady Glasgow, Bros. Matthews, Ollett, Bott, Laughton (s.). The lodge won 13-3, 14-3. ___ Mewburn Lodge Mewburn Lodge No. 90. U.A.O.D, held its meeting recently, A.D, Bro. J. J. Brownlee, P.A, presiding. The sick bard reported no sick members. The report of the picnic committee and hospital association were given by P.A, Bro. F. E. Matthews, arid a report of the Medical Institute was given by Bro. Median. J.P.A. Reports were received on the Christinas tree arrangements, and of the ladies’ night, to be held on December 13, when a dance is to be held. The Pride of Karori, 1.0.0. F., were the winners of the Mewburn Cribbage Shield. Arch Druid Bro. J. J. Brownlee, assisted by vice arch Bro. F. E. Matthews, P.A, initiated two members into the order. P.A, Bro. Straifon being M.C.
