' Y.M.C.A. Gymnasium Social The Young Men’s Christian Association Gymnasium held its end of the season social and prize distribution on Wednesday evening. The chairman of the physical culture committee, Dr. A. Gillies, in presenting the trophies, said that the Y.M.C.A., by its organised physical training, was doing more for the promotion of apparatus work than'any other organisation in New Zealand. No little credit, he said, was due to the physical director, Mr. J. A. Duffy, for the high plane that had been reached. Prizes were awarded as follow Woman champion, Miss L.
