DOMINION TOUR

Plans of Sir Charles Kingsford Smith TWO MONTHS IN COUNTRY “Sir Charles will begin his tour of New Zealand about January 15, but. the exact date depends on the completion and tests of the Codock now being built,” said Mr. Wilfrid Kingsford Smith to a “Dominion” representative. “It is unlikely that Lady Kingsford Smith will come over to be in New Zealand during the forthcoming tour.” This year's tour would be divided into two parts, Mr. Kingsford Smith said. First there would be three weeks’ flying, then a fortnight’s rest, and then another three weeks of flying. Sir Charles would then return to Sydney from the Ninety Mile Beach. New Plymouth would again be the landing place on the flight from Australia, and a large number of towns that were omitted on (he last tour owing to the shortness of the time or the lack of the necessary landing grounds would be visited on this occasion. Wellington would not be left until the end of the tour, but a suitable weekend for tlie visit would be found as soon as possible after the arrival iu New Zealand.
