YESTERDAY’S WEATHER
Cloudy, With Cold Southerly
The weather in Wellington yesterday was cloudy, with a cold southerly wind. The maximum temperature was 54 degrees and that at 4 p.m. 50.3 degrees A light south-west wind was blowing in Auckland. Except for a few light showers during the early morning, fine weather prevailed, but conditions were cloudy and unsettled. The weather cleared in Christchurch, and after a cloudy morning, brilliant sunshine prevailed in the afternoon. A light but cold south-west wind was blowing. The weather was unsettled in Dunedin in the morning, when occasional light showers fell, but the afternoon was fine. A moderate' south-west breeze was blowing.
