GUILD OF ST. JOHN

‘Busy Month for Nurses The Dioutlily committee meeting of the District Nursing Guild of St. John was held on Monday, Mrs. Stace presiding. The nurses reported a very busy month, owing to small epidemics of mumpg and measles. Mrs.. W. Young kindly offered the use of her home at Heretaunga and to provide tea to all the old ladies who could go one day in January. The committee accepted the offer with pleasure. Donations in kind were received from the following:—Mrs. Barltrop, Busy Bee Club, Anon., Chilton St. James, Old Girls’ Association, Rowland Cake Kitchen, Mrs. Daniel, Mrs. Addcy, Mrs. C. Smith, the Misses Bicknell, Kbandallali Sick Poor Guild, Mrs. W. Carter, Mrs. J. Young, Miss Johnston, Miss E. Young, Miss Adkins, and Mrs. Osborn.
