The South African Cricket Board has received notification from Australia stating that the prospective South African tour by the Austqilian teanj will be considered next February on terms similar to those applicable to M.C.C. tours. SHEFFIELD SHIELD (Received November 6. 9.20 p.m.) Brisbane, November 6. There was no play in the Sheffield Shield cricket match to-day on account of rain.
