FATAL COLLISION

Motor-cyclist Killed PILLION PASSENGER HURT By Telegraph.—Press Association. Hastings, November 6. A collision in which Raymond Harold Petersen, aged 24 years, single, of Hastings, was killed, and 'William John Forrest, single, also of Hastings, was seriously injured, occurred at Hastings on Saturday evening. 1 Petersen was driving a motor-cycle, with Forrest as a pillion passenger. The cycle ran into the left side of a lorry driven by Tiki Fraser, carrier, of Hastings. Petersen died iin ten minutes, and Forrest, who is now a patient in the Hastings Hospital, was reported this morning to be progressing satisfactorily. The men were returning from the Palm<aston show, at which Forrest had been exhibiting a model destroyer made by him.
