Sarraut previously announced his Stabilisation policy, including substantial and- immediate economic reforms, war on tax dodgers, alleviation of heavy taxation in order to lower production costs, extensive public works, development of motor transport, protection of industry, continuation of quota system, without preferences, except for a quid pro quo, development of colonial markets, and international collaboration. France will continue her work for disarmament on the basis of the agreement with Britain. to which a specially friendly reference is made.
