AIR FORCE DISPLAY

Night Flying at Rongotai No. 2 BOMBER SQUADRON Officers of No. 2 (Bomber) Squadron of the New Zealand Air Force, which has its headquarters in Wellington, will give a night-flying and bombing display at Rongotai Airport on Wednesday, November 22. This will be the first exhibition of the kind seen in Wellington, and should prove one of the outstanding events during the National Confidence Carnival campaign. Arrangements for the display have been in hand for some time, and a good programme is already assured. The chief event of the evening will be the blowing up of a fort by the bombing aircraft, the ground defences being searchlights and anti-aircraft guns, and there will be displays of aerobatics by illuminated aeroplanes and model flying, besides other novelty items. Squadron-Leader G. L. Stedman is the Officer Commanding the squadron.
