SAILING CANCELLED

— • —♦ - -• Inability to Secure Crew WAIPAHI AT AUCKLAND By Telegraph.—Press Association Auckland, November 4. The sailing of the Union Steam Ship Company's Waipahi for Westport today had to be cancelled owing to inability to get a crew signed on. Yesterday when the steamer was to have been commissioned it was found that the seamen would not sign on unless the company included in the comploment one man it was not prepared to accept. As no agreement could be reached, the company decided to abandon the trip. The Waipahi has been laid up for a considerable time, but recently it was decided to put her back in the Islands trade. She was to make a trip to Westport, and then return to load for the Islands.
