JURY DISAGREES

Petition In Divorce After a retirement, of four hours last evening a Supreme Court jury returned with the announcement that it could not agree in a decision on a divorce petition and was unable to give even a three-fourths verdict. The case, in which dissolution of his marriage with Margaret Mary Nippert was sought, by Edward Frederick William Nippert. on the ground of adultery, was heard during the last two days before the Chief Justice, Sir Miclmol Myers. George Farrar was named as co-respondent. In addition, petitioner asked for custody of the one child of the marriage, and costs against, co-respondent. Mr. R. Herbert Webb appeared for petitioner, Mr. A. F. Hogg for respondent, and JD’. J. D. Willis for co-respondent. November 13 was fixed tentatively as the date for the rehearing of t'he case.
