MAN’S BODY FOUND

Apparently Struck by Train By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, November 3. The dead body of Ernest Royal Jones, aged 43, was found at the Mangeie crossing, near Otahubu, this morning by a railway surfaceman. It is believed that the deceased was struck by the early morning goods train. He was employed by a butchering firm, and was to have been married last Wednesday evening. He did not turn up. The service was postponed in a belief that he had suffered a loss of memory, and a search was begun for him, but without success.
