Meters Incorrectly Read MAN SENT TO PRISON By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, November 3. An employee of the municipal electricity department, Thomas James Gordon, aged 32. married, admitted before Mr. E. D. Mosley, S.M.. to-day the theft of £37 between April aud October, 1933, through manipulation of meter accounts. He was sentenced to a month’s hard labour. The police slated that the accused was guilty of incorrect readings of Pieters, in 110 cases restitution had been made.
