AIR MAIL STAMPS

None for England Yet

Australia, Canada, South Africa and New Zealand all have their special air mail stamps now, but. the Mother Country for some reason lags behind. 'l’he Post Office does not issue any special stamps for air mail, although oyer 70 countries now make issues for this purpose, and find it quite a useful source of revenue.

Many stamp enthusiasts hope that Sir Kingsley Wood, the Postmaster General, who has been doing splendid work to popularise the telephone in Great Britain, will take up this question when his phone campaign has been concluded. —Reuter, special to “The Dominion.”
