Bruce Sutherland, the man who made a world's endurance record at golf, dropped dead at his home at Edinburgh recently. Sutherland in 19-7 played 14 rounds of golf on the Craiglockart links in 231 hours. Fore-caddies with acetylene lamps helped him to play throughout the night. He walked more than 40 miles in achieving his record on an extremely hilly and exacting course.
