Mrs. Brinkman is a Wanganui visitor to’ Christchurch. Mrs. Hubert Burnett, Nelson, is visiting Mrs. P. H. Mules, Woodville. Mrs. T. G, Nelson, Dannevirke, is visiting Wellington. Mrs. C. Nichols, Wellington, is at present in Christchurch. Mrs. F. J- Forde, Wellington, is on a visit to Timaru. Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Murphy, Wellington, are visiting Christchurch. Miss M. Cobum, Greymouth, is on a holiday visit to Wellington. Mrs. lan Johnston, Lower Hutt, is the guest of her mother, Mrs. H. Vavasour, Ugbrpok, Marlborough. Mrs. Colin MacDonald and Miss Nedra MacDonald, Blenheim, are visiting Wellington. Mrs. B. Knight has returned to Castlecliff after a visit to Christchurch. Mrs. Barker, Christchurch, who has been Mrs. Whelan’s guest in Wanganui, is visiting Palmerston North. Mr. and Mrs. J. Howe, Featherston, who have been visiting Auckland, have returned home. Mrs. E. Barry, Featherston, who has been visiting her sister, Mrs. W. Card, Wanganui, has returned home. Miss Kathleen Cruickshank, Cole Street, Masterton, was a recent visitor to Wanganui. Miss Armstrong, Feilding, has been the guest of Mrs. H. Willis, Wanganui. Miss Fowler, principal of Nga Tawa School, Marton, has been spending a few days in Wanganui. Miss I. Morris, Wellington, is visiting Mrs.. B. P. Lethbridge, ‘‘Ann Bank,” Turakina. Mrs. Kennedy, Wellington, is visiting her daughter, Mrs. A. Wilson, Wicksteed Street, Wanganui. Mrs. Bennett and Miss Lyall Bennett have' left their flat in Goring Street and are staying at Sayes Court. Miss Amur! Neville, St. Andrews, Blenheim, is the guest of Dr. and Mrs. Findlay, Kelburn. Miss Elsie Williams, Frimley, Hastings, who has been in Wellington for a few days, returned home yesterday. Mrs. H. M. Campbell, Horonui, Hastings, motored home yesterday after spending a few days in Wellington. Mrs. Mackersey, Hataitai, will go to Nelson by to-morrow’s boat to be present at the marriage of her son Ivan to Miss Sybil Acheson. Mrs. F. S. Greenshields and Miss Greenshields, of Otorohanga, are the guests of Mrs. H. W- Lloyd, Everton Terrace. Mrs. R. W. McVilly, who has been staying for a few days in Auckland, returned to Wellington yesterday. Mrs. McVilly also spent some weeks at Rotorua. Miss Doris Mills will cross to Nelson to-morrow evening to stay with Mrs. Acheson at Wainui House for the marriage of Miss Sybil Acheson to Mr. Ivan Mackersey, of Wellington. Miss Doris Mills, who has been on the staff of the Public Library for more than three years, was met by the staff on Thursday morning, when Mr. J. Norrie, the chief librarian, made her a presentation on their behalf. Miss Mills will leave in December for Melbourne, where her marriage to Mr. Colin M. Smith, Melbourne manager of the /•Radio Retailer of Australia,” and other papers, will take place.
