CALL TO ANGLICANS

'‘Lack of Implicit Guidance” WORLD LEADER WANTED London, November 1. The Rev. H. R. L. Sheppard gives a stirring call to the Anglican community for 10,000 churchmen who would be willing to walk with him to Lambeth Palace when the Archbishops and Bishops of the Empire meet next, that “we may say in respect and passion how deeply we feel their lack of implicit guidance.” Mr. Sheppard adds that his protest “is against the constant injunction to be patient. Church people will remain crippled in ti e face of the orld’s need until a leader arises who will tell us what are the causes that must be fought for to the death and what is the mere trimming of religion.”
