At Newport, Tennessee, an argument over the National Recovery Act to-day resulted in the death of Don Cahill and "the imprisonment of Hugh McMahon, a blacksmith, on a charge of murder. It is stated that the two were engaged in a friendly argument in the blacksmith’s shop, McMahon defend; ing the National Recovery Act against the criticism of his visitor.
