At-a recent meeting of the National Flower Show Committee it was reported that nearly 3000 schedules have been circulated throughout New Zealand to persons and societies. Upwards of 6000 square feet of space have already been applied for. The exhibits and working models for the Women’s Institute will require over 4000 square feet of space, and it will probably be necessary to secure extra accommodation on this account. The Oval at the Palmerston North showgrounds has been engaged for a pageant, on the second day of the show, in which 500 ladies will be engaged, to be followed by folk dances. Altogether the show, which is to be held at Palmerston North on January 20 and 27, promises to be very successful.
