Shepherd three wickets for 28) against Albion, who have lost six wickets for 44 (Lemin two wickets for 13, Elmos three wickets for 14). Against University Carisbrook made 280 (Moloney 47, H. Cameron 91 not out, Nimmo 34, Jolly six wickets for 87). Against Old Boys, Dunedin made 201 (Badcock 71, Cavanagh 81, Groves six wickets for 16). Old Boys have lost two wickets for 24. Kaikorai made 237 (Constable 101) against Christian Brothers. CHRISTCHURCH PLAY High Scoring Prevails By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, October 15. The Canterbury Cricket Association competitions opened in ideal weather. High scoring testified to the quality of the wickets. Old Boys against St. Albans made 300 (M. L. Page 95, W. A. Hadlee 76, H. R. Escott 52, L. C. Lindley five wickets for 96). St. Albans made 10 for one wicket. West Christchurch, against Old Collegians. made 410 for five wickets (J. L. Kerr 103, D. Smith 101 not out, L. R.
