Feilding Horticulturists

Feilding, October 11. At the annual meeting of the Feilding Horticultural Society on Monday night it was decided to hold a flower show on November 24. The following officers were elected : Patron, Hon. J. G. Cobbe: president, Mr. D. C. Cullinane; committee, Mesdames Dowrick, Graham. Gorton, Lange, Millen, A. McCorkindnJe. Ross, V. E. Smith. Walpole, R. M. Watson,: Misses Shortall, Matthews (2), Messrs. Barltrop. Brewster, Lumsden, E. H. Lange, F. Mason, G. Mai, K. Ross ami R. Stuart ; secretary and treasurer, Mr. A. Dowrick; auditor. Mr. J. Barltrop. Dannevirke Society Dannevirke. October 11. A net profit of £.ll/3/10 on the society’s annual Show was reported at the annual meeting of the Dannevirke Horticultural Society. The receipts from the show were £73/0/10, and the expenditure was £62/6/-. The society, it was reported, had a credit balance of £29/9/11. The society decided to hold its next show on February 1 of next year. The following officers were elected Patron, the Hon. E. A. Ransom; president, Mr. .1, Goldie Anderson : vice-presi-dents, Messrs. C. H. Thompson and F. W. Graham. Mesdames J. Carlson and Thompson, with the addition of Mr. F. O. Devlin and Mrs. J. Livingstone; secretary. Mr. L. Schmidt; schedule committee. Mesdames' Carlson, Baker, Livingstone. Messrs. T. Harbour, G. France, F. W. Graham, M. Boothby. F. O. Devlin and C. Blaikiston.
