Mrs. W. L. Travers, Day’s Bay, will go to Christchurch early next month to stay with her mother, Mrs. S. L. Partridge, Fendalton. Mrs. C. P. Agar, Christchurch, is on a visit to Wellington and Palmerston North. z Mrs. Beauchamp and Mrs. Maguire, who have been the guests of Mrs. I’. O’Brien in Stratford, have returned to Wellington. Lady Carncross, who has been in Wellington since the opening of Parliament, will return to Eltharn to-mor-row morning. Mrs. K. Gaynor, Upper Plain, Masterton, who has been in Wellington for some weeks, has returned to her home.

Miss M. Gregory, Wakeman Street, Pahiatua, who has been spending a holiday in Wellington, has returned home.

Mrs. R. E. Roberts, of Palmerston North, has returned to her home in Park Road, after a serious illness in a private hospital. Miss Joy Perry, who has been visiting friends and relatives in Auckland, Wellington and New Plymouth, has returned to Christchurch. Mr. and Mrs. F. W. Stevens, Christchurch, arrived in Wellington yesterday to join the Wanganella en route for Australia, where they intend staying about two months.
