Mrs. A. Tyrer Honoured
Mrs. Tyrer, who is visiting Palmerston North with her husband, Mr. A. Tyrer, Trinity College music examiner, was met the other afternoon by members of the Palmerston North Girls’ Music Club, and entertained by them at a social gathering at the Rosco Tearooms. The president of the club, Mrs. J. K. Paton, received the guest of honour, and the secretary,' Miss Mavis Buchanan, presented her with a charming posy. Mrs. Tyrer is a gifted violinist, and studied in Germany, and also with Saure, the eminent French master.
