OFFICERS FOR YEAR

Wanganui Girl Guides Wangtuuii, September 13. The annual meeting of the Wanganui Girl Guide Association was held last evening at the home of the divisional commissioner, Mrs. A. 11. E. Wall. The annual report disclosed that there arc 14 companies, 8 Brownie packs, and one Ranger company, made up of 135 Brownies. 210 Guides, 13 Rangel's, and 35 Guiders, also 50 recruits—a total of 443. Besides this number there are 46 girls at Rntana, a new Brownie pack at Gonville, and a Guide company at Maxwell. A total of 303 proficiency badges were gained during the year. The following officers were elected for the year:—President, Mrs. G. 11. Robertson (re-elected); vice-presidents, Mesdames N. G. Armstrong. N. R. Bain, C. C. Hutton, 11. D. Robertson, Wilkie, H. F. Christie, I. E. Newton, G. Carver, MPoole, Misses Newcombe. Hatriek, Mont-gomerie-Moore, and A. Currie; executive committee. Mesdames E. M. Silk. D. Wilson, G. Pownall, H. Paul, and S. Burnett.
