Automobile Association Proposal ASSISTANCE FOR MEMBERS Dominion Special Service. Palmerston North, September 14. In order that members of the Manawatu Automobile Association may have the pleasure of enjoying the variety of attractions of the open road, under the most favourable conditions, it te proposed to arrange one or two-day tours to interesting localities, in this and other districts, later in the year. The assistance that will be given to members will bo of a comprehensive character, eliminating many seeming complexities and formalities. In addition to the service officer, who will accompany the party with full equipment, in order to cope with almost any eventuality, it is hoped to invoke the assistance of other motorists thoroughly familiar with the country to be traversed, and equally experienced in the intricacies of motoring in general, factors which are essential to the complete success of a tour.
