THE PLUNKET SOCIETY
Work of Upper Hutt Branch The president, Mrs. S. Blackley, presided over a large attendance at the monthly meeting of the Upper Hutt branch of the Plunket Society. The Plunket Nurse’s report of the work carried out during August was as follows:—New cases, 3; visits to homes in Upper Hutt, 45; outstations, 25; visits to Plunket Rooms, Upper Hutt, 250; outstations, 71; total visits to rooms-duriug the month, 321. A hearty vote of thanks was passed to the Board of Governors of the Macarthy Trust for the grant of £7O for the general purposes of the branch. The committee acknowledged with ’thanks the following subscriptions:— Mrs. Blackwell. 5/-; Mrs. Petrie, o/-, Mrs. Salisbury, 6/-; Macarthy Trust, £7O; sale of emulsion and Kanlac, £o 8/-.
